Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) – National Association of Realtors

The ABR is a training program focusing on the special needs of buyers of real estate.  With this accreditation we hone our negotiating techniques, explore potential legal issues and pitfalls that could have a detrimental effect on our buyer clients, and develop a system for building deals that protect all parties in the transaction.

Canadian Employee Relocation Specialist – Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC)

The CERC certification program has provided me with the specialized skill set to offer exceptional support to employees who are facing the unique challenges of relocating with their employers, both within Canada, and to and from abroad.  When families come in to the Calgary market with limited or no knowledge of the City and culture, it can be stressful and daunting.  I have developed my business with an eye to building a support structure to help transferees navigate new culture, schools, climate and government.  I worked in oil and gas for many years and have been transferred myself, so I am very sensitive to the special challenges faced by newcomers.

Working with Diversity Certification – National Association of Realtors

Because of my extensive work with relocation, I feel it is important that I strive to expand my understanding of all cultures and their special requirements when settling in to a new city.  The Working With Diversity Designation has helped me to build my understanding in this regard.
